LittleBigPlanet Beta Created Levels - You decide

With the LittleBigPlanet beta coming to a close on October 12th at 23:59 GMT, we'll be getting everything ready for the launch of the game. As many of you are doubtless aware, at present we are not planning to make shared creations from the beta test available in the full version of the game, however we are aware that a lot of time and effort has been put into what you've created so far.

With this in mind we're going to give you the choice! Whether you took part in the LittleBigPlanet beta test or not your opinion counts - would you rather that created levels and items from the beta test were available when the game launches, or would you rather we removed everything and the shared side of the game started from scratch? Vote in the LittleBigPoll (left column) before Monday October 13th, and we'll go with whichever option receives more votes!

Please bear in mind that what we're talking about here are levels that have been uploaded already, any save game data, offline creations or progress cannot be transferred into the full game.

yah, thats also true, and i LOVE the zanarkand one! it reminds me of when i was like 5 and played that with my friend austin, couldent even get past the first level, hehe Laughing

Knowing that many hours of work was put into these amazing levels, It would be a shame to just wipe it all out. It would be nice to have extra content to download right when the game's launched.

i personally think is would be a BETTER IDEA to start from scratch, but i think all the people who out time and effort into there levels shouldn't have there work be deleted... but starting from scratch would remove all the bad levels... its a win lose situation... i think there should be a deal that if you level has over 10,000 plays or something it should stay posted... so that the good levels don't get lost... either or i'm voting NO because a clean slate is always good...

100000000% keep the levels, numerous levels that i have seen are things that i would love to play, since i don't have the beta this isn't possible? please sony and MM keep these great creations!!!

i say keep them i spent a good 5 hours on mine then 2 hours tuning the thing that sucks is i cant find my level out of the 10 cool level pages. but to be back on track it would be wrong to delete people who made professional levels such as construction site, littlebig colossus, and this one awesome god of war level i forget the name of it tho. They must of spent +24hrs makeing and fine tuning them. it wuld be wrong to get rid of them.

PLEASE KEEP THEM! I practically have a bond with my level, I spent over a WEEK of my spare time on it, please let us keep our levels. I spent so much time making it perfect and no one has even had a chance to tell me what they think of it yet, please keep them!

There's no point in starting from scratch. Bad levels will be removed but so will good ones and it'll only take an hour or two before bad levels are all over the place again.

Get rid of them. It will delete all the bad levels and the people that really liked the levels they made can rebuild them. After all the beta only had 50% of the content of the full game. Most likely those levels would show their age real quick.

It would be great if they persisted. Not just for my level (It's pretty simple), but there is some really creative and complex level out there and they deserve to stay on the servers.

I think you should keep the levels that were made during the beta period. I am not saying this just because I made a level and spent a whole lot of time just to make it work. I think it just makes since to get a jump start on the creative juices when the game comes out. The beta levels are a good creative foundation. Oh and does anyone who is on the beta know why my sackboy turned into a skeleton without me doing anything to change it?

I havent made any levels in the beta yet, but for other people it would be better if levels they create aren't deleted as a lot of effort has gone into them.

Thanks for giving us part in the decision of what to is to be done. I just think there are so many great levels out there already that people have put a lot of time into it would be a shame to throw them away.

That would be so cool if all the levels were kept. Anyone in the beta checkout my remake of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone called "Sackboy and the Sorcerer's Stone" Hope u guys like it-my first level ever!
