Ah, but what is "The LittleBigWorkshop"?

Imagine a place where all LBP players and creators can gather to share their experiences and ideas; a place where you can plan your creations with special tools and connect with other LBP fans to collaborate and share ideas; a place to show off and demonstrate your greatest achievements, with the ability to teach others in CREATE and SHARE; a location where you can access everything LBP, including tutorial videos, user-generated content, and etc… 

The LittleBigWorkshop will be your own personal creative canvas, a place that can inspire ingenuity, emotion and synergy for players, creators and those that are just curious. 

Here’s what you can expect from The LittleBigWorkshop:
 
PLAY – FUN SHALL OVERCOME
This is your LittleBigWorkshop, PLAY WITH EVERYTHING.  Get the latest news and info from LittleBigNews; create your own masterpiece with the Sticker Room; view the latest official SackBoy trailer and costume within Game Info; or simply, learn what LBP is all about.  You have the complete freedom to explore and view everything within LittleBigWorkshop. 

• Game Info – Want to know what LittleBigPlanet is all about?  Missed some of the LBP trailers?  How about exclusive artwork and screens from Mm?  You will find it all within the Game Info page. 
• LittleBigNews – LittleBigChallenges? User generated level spotlights? Developer news?  Get daily updates of LittleBigPlanet from the official News page. 
• LittleBigForums – a bulletin board system made for the ultimate LBP user.  Create your own thread, subjects or groups and take part with the LBP community
• Sticker Room – Make your own wallpaper or artwork by using a set of in-game LBP stickers, architecture and decorations.   

• Blueprint Room - Use the blueprint creator to design a plan with your own imagination and download it to your desktop.  Print it as a guide for your LBP creation, or post it to have others rate it. 
• Workshop Room – A place to learn and educate others on all things in LittleBigPlanet.    Upload your own LBP  videos or photos and provide detailed information on how the object / level were built.     
• Inspiration Room - Want to inspire others to create something in LittleBigPlanet?  A SackBot or Spaceship?  Use the inspiration room to upload your own images or blueprints. 

• PSN Registration – Want to contribute by creating your own blueprint, workshop or inspiration?  Sign-in using your PSN registration to create your own LBP profile and participate.
• Video Upload – Create your own video in LBP and show it off on LittleBigWorkshop.  Get the most amounts of views and get placed in the “Most Popular” category. 
• Image Upload – Upload your own image or blueprint within the Inspiration Room and get others to create.
• Comment – Love it or hate it, this is your chance to give your input on everyone’s creations and inspirations. 

We're sure that most of you have heard by now that one of the background music tracks that was licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an.  We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologize for any offense this may have caused.  

We will begin shipping LittleBigPlanet to retail in North America the week of October 27th.

We understand this is unfortunate news for everybody, including us.  Know we will do whatever we can to get LittleBigPlanet in your hands as soon as possible.  

For those that have locked themselves in their rooms, threw away their cell phones, and lost all contact with the world since taking part of the Beta Test, you may have missed the "Making Fun" trailer exclusively on GameTrailers.com

In this trailer you can clearly see that in LittleBigPlanet, whatever you imagine can be built…and played.

You name it, it can be done.  All you need is your imagination and a little help from the SackBoys!

In other LBP news, as some of you may have read from the PLAYSTATION Blog this morning, Sony announced at Tokyo Game Show that Metal Gear Solid's own Snake (well "Old" Snake if you want to get specific) and Sephiroth of Final Fantasy 7 fame have just joined the ranks of amazing titles that are now part of the LittleBigPlanet family.

With about two weeks left until the big launch, we wanted to finalize the info for pre-orders and sum it up for you in one nice neat package...

First off, the main reason you want to pre-order is to make sure you're online with us for the free, limited edition, week one only, 'I was there for Launch' SpaceSuit SackBoy costume.  This is a fair and final warning - we don't want to see any sob stories on our News Site / Forums, and we promise not to give you the "I told you so" line (but we'll be thinking it on every post) :)

If you haven't been on the PS Blog today, you didn't catch the next episode in our in-depth study of Life in LBP.  This time around, we see how SackBoys like to get down when they just wanna have some fun.  (And really, that's all they want to do.)  We see how they can "cooperate" to get to hard to reach places but at any given time, they can turn on each other and "compete" for the highly sought after Score Bubbles. 

I guess that's why we like to call it "Coopetition" Gameplay!
